Extensive experience in tax law (advisory and litigation), M&A and corporate disputes. He worked as a legal adviser for the Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo e Gás – IBP for the 12th World Petroleum Congress.

He worked as a Professor of Financial Law for under graduate and graduate degree programs at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – UERJ (2001 – 2004), Tax Law professor for the MBA in Economic and Business Law program at Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV (2000 – 2003) and professor for the LL.M in Corporate Law and Capital Markets at IBMEC / RJ (2011).
Member of the Rio de Janeiro chapter of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) Arbitration Commission.
